12Tiling
Layouts planned, grout lines perfect, wet areas actually waterproof.
Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, marble, and mosaic tile installation across kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, entryways, and fireplaces.

Overview
What tile work looks like with us.
We tile like the pattern is going to be looked at for thirty years — because it is. That means dry-layout every floor before the first tile goes down, center-balanced cuts at doorways, uncut tiles at the most-viewed edges, and grout joints laser-checked for straightness.
Large-format porcelain, herringbone marble, penny-round mosaic, handmade zellige — different materials demand different mortars, different trowels, different setting techniques. We match the method to the material.

Questions, answered
Tiling — questions we hear.
Yes — Schluter Ditra-Heat or Nuheat under porcelain or natural stone. Practically mandatory for bathrooms in Kingston winters. We coordinate the thermostat placement with your electrician.
For some clients, absolutely — marble, limestone, and travertine have a depth of character no porcelain can mimic. For high-traffic areas or clients who hate sealing, modern large-format porcelain now does an excellent stone-look at a fraction of the maintenance.
A bathroom floor: 1–2 days tile + 1 day grout. A full walk-in shower with niches: 4–6 days. A kitchen backsplash: 2–3 days. We never rush cure times on mortar or grout.
