Flooring failures are the #1 callback on most renovation jobs in Ontario, and 90% of them trace to two mistakes: not acclimatising the material to the home's humidity before install, and not checking the subfloor for flatness. We address both on every job.
We install every major flooring type, but we lead with what we think actually performs: wide-plank engineered hardwood for most Kingston homes (stable through seasonal humidity swings), rigid-core LVP for basements and rental units, and porcelain tile in wet areas.

Flooring Installation — questions we hear.
In most Kingston homes, engineered. It's more stable through dry-winter humidity swings, can be installed over in-floor heating, and modern engineered products can be refinished multiple times. Solid hardwood is still an option for upper floors in heritage homes.
Minimum 72 hours, often a week, in the conditioned home before install. This is non-negotiable for hardwood. We schedule the delivery accordingly.
Yes — sanding and refinishing existing floors is often the smartest move on a renovation rather than replacing. We dustless-sand, stain, and finish with low-VOC waterborne products.
