Kitchen Renovations by Redden's Contracting in Kingston, Ontario.

Overview

What kitchens work looks like with us.

A Redden's kitchen renovation covers everything: demo, framing changes, plumbing and electrical updates, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, lighting, and finish carpentry. One crew, one point of contact, one schedule.

We start by understanding how you actually use the room — how many cooks, where the coffee goes, whether the island is a landing strip or a dinner table — then work backwards into layouts that earn their footprint. Every Kingston home is different; we design around your walls, your light, and your budget, not a showroom template.

Our finish work is what separates a good kitchen from a great one. Crown returns mitred clean, tile grout joints uniform, toe-kicks scribed to the floor, appliance garages that actually close. The kind of detail you notice every morning for ten years.

Questions, answered

Kitchen Renovations — questions we hear.

  • Most full kitchen renovations run four to eight weeks on site once materials are in hand. Cabinet lead times (typically six to ten weeks) are the usual gate — we order early and protect your timeline with a written schedule.

  • Yes. When your project requires electrical, plumbing, or structural permits, we pull them and coordinate inspections through the City of Kingston (or your local township) so you never have to call the office.

  • Most clients do. We set up dust barriers, protect floors, and can build a temporary kitchenette in another room. For large gut renos, some homeowners prefer to be away for the two noisiest weeks — we'll be straight with you about what to expect.
